Canyon Falls schools get A grades
Canyon Falls is proud to be part of two highly regarded public school districts, ranked among the top three districts in Denton County by Niche. Here’s a quick look at some of the numbers that make both of these school districts a great choice for young learners.
Argyle ISD
Argyle ISD is ranked as the No. 1 school district in Denton County by Niche, with an overall A+ grade and additional A+ grades for Academics, Teachers and College Prep.
Niche also ranks Argyle ISD as the No. 1 District with the Best Teachers in Denton County, and as the county’s No. 1 Safest School District.
Among the Argyle ISD campuses zoned to serve Canyon Falls, Hilltop Elementary School has an overall Niche grade of A, with an A for Academics and an A+ for Teachers.
Argyle Intermediate School, serving grades 5-6, has an A overall grade from Niche, with A+ grades for Academics and Teachers. It also rated as the No. 2 Best Public Middle School in Denton County.
Argyle Middle School, serving grades 7-8, has an A overall Niche grade, with an A for Academics and an A+ for Teachers.

Northwest ISD
Niche ranks Northwest ISD as the No. 3 school district in Denton County, with an overall A grade, and A’s for Academics and Clubs & Activities. The district gets a B+ for teachers and an A- for College Prep.
Among other Niche rankings, Northwest ISD is No. 2 in the Safest School Districts in Denton County, and No. 4 in the Best School Districts for Athletes in the county.
The Northwest ISD campuses zoned to serve Canyon Falls are also highly rated by Niche.
Roanoke Elementary School has an overall Niche grade of A, with A- scores for Academics and Teachers.
Pike Middle School has an A- overall Niche grade, with an A- for Teachers and a B+ for Academics.
