Liberty Christian School offers exceptional private school option near Canyon Falls
Located on 76 acres in Argyle, Texas, Liberty Christian School draws families from Canyon Falls and other surrounding communities who seek a Christ-centered, college preparatory education focused on excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics from preschool through high school. The school has more than 1,200 students, with a staff of about 250.
Liberty offers a well-rounded education with more than 40 advanced placement, pre-AP, and dual credit courses. The school also offers a robust range of visual and performing arts classes, 20 competitive varsity sports, and numerous student clubs. In 2016, more than 160 students took over 300 Advanced Placement exams with an average passing rate of 80 percent. Forty-three students received the AP Scholar or higher designation from the College Board, and eighth-grade students scored almost double the national average for meeting college benchmarks.
Ten times in 13 years, Liberty Christian students have won the Overall State Championship, awarded by the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. This prestigious honor reflects points earned in academic, fine arts and athletic competitions.
More than 99 percent of Liberty Christian graduates attend the university of their choice across the nation and internationally, with the help of expert counseling from a stellar academic advising team. Its graduates received more than $8 million in scholarships last year.
