New bridge connects Canyon Falls’ growing trail system
Canyon Falls has a new landmark: a 140-foot bridge that spans Graham Branch Creek, connecting the growing trail system on both sides of this scenic natural feature.
With its rusted steel railings, this new bridge fits right in with other Canyon Falls landmarks, including the Canyon Falls Club and the main entrance along Cross Timbers Road (FM 1171). The bases of the bridge have the same Canyon Moss stone used throughout Canyon Falls, a proprietary blend that is exclusive to the community.
Located just northwest of the Canyon Falls Club, the bridge connects neighborhoods and amenities on both sides of the scenic 200-acre Graham Branch Creek Corridor, the natural focal point of the Canyon Falls master plan.
The bridge connects residents on both sides of the creek to recreational amenities including the Canyon Falls Club, the Hay Barn, the Pooch Park and the Westbridge Park Recreation Center.
With recent additions, the Canyon Falls trail system now extends for five miles, and it has new trailhead markers and benches at the Canyon Falls Club, the Pooch Park and other major amenities. Water fountains and emergency call boxes will be added this year.
When it is completed, the Canyon Falls trail system will span more than seven miles, and will be part of more than 200 acres of parks, trails, recreation centers and natural open space in the community. Learn more about Canyon Falls amenities.
