Flower Mound Ranked in Top Ten Best Places to Find a New Job

Flower Mound tops another list this week.  According to 24/7 Wall Street, Flower Mound ranks as one of the top ten best places to find a new job, out of a survey of over 550 cities nationwide.

Flower Mound and Richardson were the only two places in Dallas-Fort Worth to make the list of the 50 best places to live, according to 24/7 Wall Street. Flower Mound ranked ninth in seven major categories: crime, economy, education, housing, environment, leisure and infrastructure.

Flower Mound has a median household income of $113,683 and a low crime rate of 31 violent crimes per 100,00. Residents are well educated, and students performed above average in standardized tests. Flower Mound is close to more than 2,800 restaurants and 14 museums in Tarrant County, as well as Dallas Cowboys football games.
Flower Mound received another recent accolade concerning job growth this month.  According to a list by Time.com, Flower Mound ranks as the #2 best place to find a new job.  Time.com reports a forecasted 18.1% increase in job growth by 2018, with job growth since 2010 at 10%.
